    Synology Photo / DSM 7.0

    Updated: May 20 2023
    Summary

Very good, badly missing the shared-space timeline though.
while timeline is available on private space, for the shared space it can only be made available if full-access is provided to all users - meaning every user can potentially delete pictures from the shared space while this is something only the admin should be allowed to do.

    Positive

Auto upload/backup from mobile device (iPhone, iPad, Android).
    Face recognition.
    Timeline.
Sharing all photos with the family.
Self hosted = no space limit.

    Negative

Badly missing the shared-space timeline though. it is only available if full access is granted to every user.
