While it shares a sonic resemblance to the PUNCH mode of DC8C, it also brings in new features such as negative ratio options and the ability to unlink stereo channels. My aim was to create a compressor that only requires an input and output knob, functioning smoothly to deliver anything from delicate, nearly invisible leveling to bold, dynamic pumping with a satisfying crunchy saturation, making it particularly well-suited for drums.
