What is TestCollab?
TestCollab is a secure, AI-powered test management platform that helps QA, development, and product teams improve software quality with less manual effort. It centralises test cases, test plans, executions, requirements, milestones, reusable suites, defects, and release activities so every team member can see what needs to be tested, assigned, fixed, or approved. QA Copilot helps speed up test creation from Jira issues, requirements, screenshots, PDFs, URLs, and code context, and also supports test case automation by converting scenarios into automation-ready steps. TestCollab integrates with Jira, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and other tools for requirements management, defect tracking, CI/CD, and automation reporting. Teams can comment directly on test executions, assign work to testers, track sprint quality, view trends, identify weak areas, estimate testing effort before releases, and prioritise quality risks early. With custom fields, workflows, templates, roles, dashboards, reports, SSO, 2FA, audit logs, and SOC 2 Type II compliance, TestCollab gives teams better visibility, collaboration, and release confidence.

Simple yet powerful test management tool
Date: Aug 22 2025SummaryTestCollab has been a great addition to our QA process. It strikes the right balance between simplicity and advanced features. Unlike many test management tools that feel bloated, TestCollab focuses on usability and efficiency, which makes day-to-day work faster. After adopting it, our test planning and execution became much more structured, and collaboration across dev and QA improved significantly. I’d recommend it to any team looking for an easy-to-use yet feature-rich test management platform.
PositiveTestCollab is very easy to set up and use, even for someone new to test management. The UI is clean and intuitive, so my team did not need much training. I really liked how test cases can be organized into suites and reused across multiple projects, which saves a lot of time. Integrations with Jira and GitHub work smoothly, and reporting gives a clear picture of test coverage and execution progress. Collaboration features like assigning test runs and commenting within test cases made team communication much better.
NegativeLack support for BDD and custom reports on dashboard.

This app is a good option for beginners, but there is still room for improvement.
Updated: Apr 10 2024SummaryThe platform offers good and fast support, effective issue resolution, intuitive navigation, and suite separation for test cases, which are significant pros. However, it suffers from limitations in user control over test plans, inconsistency in deleting empty test plans, issues with sorting/filtering, occasional test plan accessibility problems, and the absence of a recycle bin feature, which can be frustrating for users and detract from the overall user experience.
PositiveResponsive Support: Users benefit from prompt and helpful assistance, ensuring their queries and issues are addressed quickly.
Effective Issue Resolution: The platform actively addresses raised concerns, demonstrating a commitment to improving functionality and user experience.
Intuitive Navigation: Easy-to-use interface facilitates smooth and efficient navigation, enhancing user productivity.
Organized Test Case Management: Suite separation for test cases improves organization and clarity, streamlining testing processes and enhancing overall efficiency.NegativeIf a test plan was created without a test case and then exited, only the project administrator can delete it. You can also check two test plans and then delete one; from API, those empty test plans aren’t deleted from the UI.

Unfortunately, the platform has several issues with sorting or filtering. Additionally, sometimes, the test plans get stuck and cannot be accessed.
One of the most exasperating aspects is the absence of a recycle bin. Once something is deleted, it’s gone for good unless you’re willing to pay a hefty fee for administrator assistance. This lack of user-friendliness can be a significant drawback for many.Official TestCollab Response
