I didn't think I would like the switch to a software program but I was dead wrong! This software keeps all my clients information well organized . It takes scheduling appointments to half the time as I'm no longer manually writing client names page after page. A click of the button and it's all there on my daily scheduling calendar. Employees can log in and see all the needed information vs meeting me to pick up the paper file and then return it. Not one of my clients has experienced a problem using the program either. I wish I had taken the leap long before I did!PositiveThis is a very user friendly software for both employees and clients. Information is at your fingertips and clients can easily update pet information as needed.
NegativeI honestly have found no cons. I'm not very tech oriented, but anytime I'm lost on how to use a new aspect of the software, there's a great section to search for answers and it includes a video to walk you through the steps. If I'm still at a loss, I can email Time to Pet and they get back to me very quickly. It's been wonderful!

PositiveAll in one invoicing, scheduling, all in one place staff>client>Admin<staff communication. Having the communication section has allowed us to stop the email and texting madness. (We use Slack to communicate with our team internally). It has made staff happier with healthy boundaries and creating longer staff retention . The auto charge feature has completely solved the invoicing nightmare. I set all clients to auto charge first day of service and done. Amazing! simply the best
NegativeWe use Slack for staff to admin communication, which is divine and TTP at this moment doesn't compare to that internal piece.

Everything in a Pet Sitting Scheduling Software I need

But when I do have a question that I can't find that answer, I can easily schedule an onboarding call and Team TTP can put my account on screen and show me how to answer my question or remedy a problem.
PositiveI can do pretty much everything in one spot. Don't like having to use a lot of apps to accomplish my goal. For instance, mileage, I charge mileage to my customers because of the vast space Alaska is.
NegativeAbility to have Add-on services for each service. I would like to be able to tie add-on services to a line items service. I.e., adding a mileage service to a service every time a service is selected by client, or myself. That it's underneath that service line on all invoices.

PositiveTime To Pet comes the closest to automating every aspect of running a pet care company and yet still manages to offer so many ways to customize it to your specific services. Your customers can use the app to request services and your administrators and/or your care providers can approve those requests. Schedules and invoices are ridiculously easy to email out as needed. Communication with your customers and your team are a breeze. It even synchs with Quickbooks to simplify your bookkeeping. I don't know how anyone runs a pet care service without it!
NegativeThe only hiccup I've run into so far is that Time To Pet is not able to differentiate between the different types of pets when setting up billing for extra pets. For example, we bill extra for walking any additional dogs more than two. If the customer also has a cat in their profile, the system will still charge the extra fee since it is not able to tell that the third pet is not a dog and thus does not need to be walked.

PositiveAutomates my administrative processes and scheduling. Can customize as I need. Support staff is extremely knowledgeable and almost always responds the same evening. My pet sitting and boarding clients love Time To Pet!
NegativeThe price was hard to swallow at first as a solo operation, but once I realized how much more I would have to pay an assistant if I didn't have the software to do that work I became quite satisfied.
