What is TipVolt?

TipVolt serves as a unique platform for creators, performers, streamers, and community organizations, enabling them to directly receive tips from their supporters while keeping 100% of their earnings. Rather than supplanting well-established platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and TikTok, it integrates smoothly with them to enhance user experience. The registration process is straightforward; creators only need to provide their email to set up a live tip page in approximately 90 seconds. Fans can effortlessly tip using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a credit card, all without the hassle of creating an account or downloading an app. Payments are efficiently processed through Stripe, guaranteeing automatic bank payouts within two business days. Joining the TipVolt platform is entirely free for creators, while fans incur a transparent 3% platform fee along with any applicable card processing fees at checkout. The versatility of TipVolt extends beyond streaming, as it effectively aids buskers through a simple QR code, facilitates secure donations for charities and mutual aid groups without revealing bank information, and supports schools and clubs in their fundraising efforts without the need for a card terminal. At present, creators in Australia are eligible to join, while fans from around the world are invited to support them. This innovative model not only empowers various groups to achieve financial success but also strengthens the bonds of community support across different sectors. As TipVolt grows, it aims to create even more opportunities for creators and fans to connect meaningfully.

Bypassing the middleman tax with TipVolt

    Date: Oct 05 2026
    Summary

If you are a creator, musician, or organizer looking for a dead-simple way to take payments without giving away massive chunks of your revenue to a middleman, TipVolt is an absolute no-brainer.

    Positive

I’ve been testing out TipVolt recently across a few different setups, and it is a massive relief for anyone tired of platforms taking huge cuts of their hard-earned money. Whether you are streaming online, hosting a fundraiser, or performing live gigs, this is the first tool I’ve found that actually lets you keep 100% of your earnings.
The setup is ridiculously fast. I had a live tipping page running in under two minutes just by providing an email and connecting my Stripe account. What I love most is how frictionless it is for the person paying. Supporters don't need to make an account, sign up for a service, or download an app. They just scan a QR code or click a link, and they can pay instantly using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a credit card.
The business model is what sets it apart. Because creators get 100% of the tip amount, TipVolt shifts a transparent 3% fee plus standard card processing over to the supporter side. I initially wondered if people would find that annoying, but it turns out that when people want to support you, they actually appreciate knowing that every dollar they intend to give you actually lands in your pocket instead of funding a massive tech corporation. The payouts hit my bank account in about two business days without any weird holding periods.

    Negative

The only downside right now is that creator registration is limited to Australia. Senders can be located anywhere in the world, but the platform infrastructure is still restricted geographically for the person receiving the funds. Hopefully, they roll it out globally soon.
