I tried their product for a few minutes before cancelling and never used it again. They continued to bill me. I just now discovered their monthly billing. After spending an hour chatting with them, they agreed to refund ~40% of their charges. So much for their satisfaction guaranteed.

Nothing.

Billing and integrity. Their customer service is very, very slow and ultimately they will not refund incorrect charges. I cancelled the contract, have stopped using the software, and they still won't refund me.

If I could give it negative stars I would, and if anyone knows how to recover their funds from them I would like to know.

There is not one positive thing I can say about my experience with Total Ad Block, it appears to be a scam.

They took $119 dollars out of my account through Paypal, it was unauthorized.
They sent me refund links that don't work, links that you get a reply the email is not monitored.
When I try to get into this supposed account it says it does not recognize my email address.
This was the latest attempt to recover my money, and after asking multiple times that the account be closed:

Poor Customer Service Communications. Can not find a way to cancel this product of which I never signed up for.
I had to click on "I am a user" in order to get to the next step. They do not allow you to type in any blank areas. I also had to select "Daily" even though I never activated the app.

I have not activated or used any product from this product. The reviews I have read before using this product diffidently defines a SCAM.

The company does not provide any way of un-scribing for the service from which I never signed up for. I clicked on a free pop-up ad removal tag to try it but I never downloaded or activated the app. I have no idea how they got my card information. They started charging me on my card statement from 1/23/23 $1.99. Then it went into went into a auto renewal charge of $9.00+. I tried all methods of contacting customer service but could not find a link to discuss my issue with them.
During writing this review it would not allow me to put "never used" for the answer to - How long have you used this product. When I left a blank it would not let me go to the next step. So I had to select "Daily". Then it asked me what is your role in using this product, again I had to select one of the pull-down items "I am a user"
This is a SCAM!! I have contacted government authorities and filed a case. They have received many complaints regarding this on-line company. Hopefully I will hear back from them soon.

Product did not work. At all. I spent over an hour after downloading the app to my phone to no avail. All I got was a message saying "you're not blocking ads in web browsers on this device." Unbelievable. That's what their product
is supposed to do!!

Also:
No way to contact the company.
No way to cancel subscription.

Total scammers. Running bait and switch.
Do not be fooled by all the positive reviews!

Buyer beware - this is a torture chamber. You will pay money for zero results, no ability to contact a person, no ability to troubleshoot. Kill it.

I did not find anything redeemable about this so-called product. The website did not work. The links on the app didn't work. See more information under 'Cons' because there were absolutely zero 'Pros' for this app.

I spent 3 days trying to figure out how to use this app. The website didn't load, none of the "help" videos had any resemblance whatsoever to what I saw on the various pages referred to in the video, there is no ability to chat with tech support, it took me hours just to figure out how to cancel, and my money for a year-long subscription has been stolen with no possibility of a refund.

I tried this product last year and it did not perform as advertised. Then today without consent or warning Total Adblock Stole 119 dollars AU from my PayPal account. Their email address is not monitored and no contact details on their website.

Avoid these scammers at all costs.

They offered a 1 dollar trial. This product didn't even remove 20% of the ads so it does not perform as promised. Not even close. I monitored and logged many of the ad popups. I cancelled before the 30 day trial ended and they "confirmed" I was cancelled. Because their addon extension was causing a problem with my desktop, they walked me through the uninstall steps. The next month they billed me. I'm lazy, so I didn't notice for awhile. I tried to cancel again, but their process it specifically designed to prevent people from cancelling. It says go to your account billing to cancel, but there is no button or link there to do so. It only has copies of your billing history (statements) and your credit card information. By design, you cannot cancel or modify the credit card information without adding a new replacement card. There simply is no "cancel account" option anywhere on the website. They don't provide a phone for customer support. They only provide chat service and any customer in the USA knows how these outsourced chats work. Overly polite, but absolutely worthless as they communicate through a script. There is no functional interaction while all the time they are trying to resell you - upgrade - your services. They cannot cancel your account through the chat - sigh - so they offer to send you an email link that never arrives. Now, it's up to you to remember to start this process all over again and repeat the same foolish nonsense. I NEVER recommend subscribing to ANY service that cannot offer simple and precise platforms or basic human services. This is more on the scam side than legit. The product barely works and all they are looking for is your credit card number to get you stuck until you contact your credit card company to set up a block. Business should not make customer service this hard. Stay away from this very, very poor company, unless you are simply fine paying monthly for a sub-par service.

Hard to uninstall - Impossible to cancel - No customer support - Does not block 80% of the ads it promises to block, does not work.
