I have been conducting my research for various services lately, and most VPN as a Service providers are not transparent about which Cloud Provider they are using to host the VPN gateway, which I’m a bit concerned about. Also, many were charging north of $50 for a cloud VPS to host the VPN server. Thankfully, that was not the case with UTunnel. Unlike others, I was free to choose the cloud provider and was not forced to choose what they wanted.

I like that they are transparent about pricing. License costs are affordable, and they only charge for the server spec that you need. The price is the same as listed by the cloud provider.

No issues for me. They offer more than what I want for an affordable price. Recommended.

I tried a few services like Perimeter81 and Good Access, but they don't have a bring your own server option, and so I could not setup my VPN server in my own VPC. This caused an additional hop while accessing my cloud services, causing unnecessary speed drop. Tried UTunnel, setup the VPN gateway in my own VPC. I am also happy with the support, as they quickly addressed my tickets when I needed some quick config help with my site-to-site VPN tunnels.

Latency is lesser as I've set up the VPN server directly in my cloud VPC where all my services are deployed.
