    I have used many screeners over the last 20 years. This is the only one I now use as it does fit my needs best. Highly recommended!

    Positive

    + Most stock screeners do not offer backtesting therefore you pick a strategy without knowing it it has worked at all in the past. Here screening and backtesting are very closely integrated and you can see how any strategy would have performed.
    + Full-featured. Tons of markets/tons of criteria, tons of backtesting options.
    + Amazing support from Peter. Most issues/questions are resolved in a matter of hours!
    + Price is right!

    There are really no major con.
    Ease of is use is good but there is a bit of a learning curve to master all of the features as the software is very powerful.

    Summary

    I am a subscriber to several stocks screeners and stock services. Uncle Stock has become the main tool in my investment process, both for idea generation and comparing investment opportunities. Highly recommended.

    + global coverage
    + data for any company size, from microcaps to largecaps
    + very flexible screening options, easy to define your niche ponds to fish in
    + many-many metrics available (ratios, different kinds of averages, different kinds of growth-stats per metric, etc), handy for filtering out what you want, and also providing good sources for inspiration
    + customizable view of results, allowing quick comparisons on what is important for you
    + eye for detail and good effort for dealing with data problems and inconsistencies (such as inconsistencies between quarterly and annual data, and many other data quirks; better than e.g. GuruFocus at this aspect)
    + csv-export to Excel
    + pricing leaves budget for subscribing to other services

    Negative

    - most fundamental data updates become available after 7 - 10 days of company filing. This is certainly quick enough for fundamental investors, but there are faster services out there.
    - look and feel of website may be clunky to newcomers (but it works fine)
    - risk for newcomers to be overwhelmed with the many possibilities, best to start out your discovery process from one of the recommended predefined screens before creating your own.
