    User Training the way it should be.

    Summary

    For us it's a great enhancement for the user experience and stepped up our user training on a whole new level. I cant imagine doing user trainings without interactive tours anymore.

    Positive

    Userlane helps to train your users directly in the software. Instead of having "training documents" the assistant highlights exactly what you're currently training. And even better: it can prevent mistakes as the parts which are not important cant be clicked and are greyed out. In addition you have the possibility to fix mistakes of your tours online and roll them out to your users immediately. Further more you are getting a great support which is giving individual and precise advices to get Userlane to a more and more successful level.

    Negative

    A bit pricey for smaller softwares. The price curve is steep and is getting flatter the more user you are focussing. Especially in the beginning this can be hard to swallow.
    The editor and all the functions/tricks/knowledge you need to get the most out of Userlane is a lot to learn. Don't expect it to be easy to get good tours. But this only applies to the "set up" and building the tours. The maintenance is easy and not a lot of work.

    A really solid product if you want to increase feature adoption and it also really helps for internal onboarding. It's robust and easy to use.

    The Userlane team was amazing during onboarding, they helped us through every tour, gave great advice and made sure everything was working as it should be. Particular shout out to Hannah who was so helpful

    Their new dashboards update is disappointing, and in general the analytics could go a bit deeper and link together better.

    The best SaaS onboarding tool on the market!

    Summary

    It's been a very positive experience from the very first engagement with their team through to the monthly success calls I have with their team. After a short evaluation period with two other companies, it was obvious that Userlane were our best option for automating and speeding up user onboarding in our automotive management software. Not only is the software the best featured on the market, with elegant, simple solutions for multi-lingual guides and a very intuitive editor that coped with our complex software superbly, but they are also a fantastic group of people to deal with, always friendly, always listening, and genuinely committed to improving their product all the time by listening to customers. This is a rare thing to find in any company! From the moment we signed up, their team have been committed to helping us get the best out of their product, and through numerous remote meetings they have helped advise and build our on boarding guides, coping with whatever challenges have come their way from our solution. I can't recommend them highly enough; definitely one of the most innovative, elegant and simple solutions I've used in my 20 years in Marketing!

    There hasn't been anything that we haven't liked. There was a feature not included in the product (user-level reporting), but on discussion with their team, we know now that it's on the roadmap and due to be delivered in the coming months. Even better, their UX team got hold of me to listen to what we wanted and help their solution!
