    Surprisingly smooth productive

    Date: Jan 07 2024
    Summary

However VNC was somehow "out of the news" for a decade meanwhile server proxy providers (any other remote access like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, GoToMyPC and others) it was the cheapest (for 3 remote PC) operating smoothly on wind and linux. No stuck-in key problems. Meanwhile VNC one of the first remote control technologies its own-network-or-vpn-is-necessary technology needed professionals to operate. With VNC Connect it is now as easy as others.

    Positive

Small footprint as server or client.
Proven compression technology with many configurable options.
Also accessing other VNC servers on user network without license needed.
No stucked-in-key problem I faced on others.

    Negative

No remote management options and corporate infrastructure governance.
Ad-hoc remote assistance (install-less server) is not in the cheapest plan but a minor license upgrade.
