What is Veribl?
Veribl acts as a digital product passport (DPP) and an after-sales platform specifically designed for brands that manufacture physical products. By scanning a QR code on an item, consumers are directed to a personalized webpage that includes the EU digital product passport, user manuals, warranty registration options, a customer support center, and an AI assistant that provides information based on the brand’s documentation.
In order to comply with regulations, brands must create ESPR digital product passports and EU battery passports for specific categories, with these requirements set to commence on February 18, 2027. Teams collect supplier data through a specialized portal, create signed and versioned passports that are publicly accessible to legitimate interests and authorized individuals, and prepare PPWR packaging declarations. The platform accommodates GS1 Digital Link QR codes and JSON-LD, while a REST API allows for seamless integration of product information with other business systems.
After a purchase is completed, the same QR code can be used to register product ownership, handle warranty claims, oversee product-related support inquiries, and improve first-party customer data collection. Additionally, a free plan is available to users. This all-encompassing solution not only enhances compliance with regulations but also cultivates deeper relationships between brands and their consumers, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
