    I've compared many OCR APIs, and although some are cheap, they lack the machine learning or they are too complicated for our small team to set up and manage.

    Positive

    Administrators can test it out with drag and drop ease, team support, and of course the API for OCR scanning with machine learning, so results get better. Our users could also send their receipts to VeryFi (white-label email solution).

    Negative

    For the API they expect an annual contract, but as a startup we prefer a pay as you go model.

    Customer service is fantastic, the app is easy to use even for an inexperienced person like myself. It’s such a great app, even my accountant is using it for her clients and she said it is great. The pros outweigh the most popular apps out there. I’d recommend this app for anyone who wants to keep their paperwork up to date and even businesses that have already tried all the others.

    The app has a brilliant ocr, it’s accurate and very easy to capture your receipts. The app tells you when an invoice is unclear. There is no limit to how you can manipulate your data, the greatest plus point is that it can be tailored to your own needs. You have the ability to add your clients and your projects, which has converted my accountant to use the app as well. For the ease of use, the look, the feel and functionality, I would give these guys fifteen stars if I could. If you were looking for an app that makes data capturing easier than taking a photo, look no further, this is the best app I have had the pleasure to use!

    It’s been very good so far, it might have a glitch or two when you are too hasty and then you take too many pictures at once, and it then resets itself. Other than that, it does what YOU need it to, it’s easy to understand and it’s easy to use.

As a small business owner with invoices and receipts of all different shapes and sizes, I was very impressed with the speed and accuracy of Veryfi OCR software. I am glad I chose Veryfi as it is so much better than its competitors for my purposes.
