    Summary

    Extremely disappointed - it never works. It did work once or twice but not for long. A couple of minutes and then the text pad disappears and then after pressing exit - it freezes.

    When I first used it, it did work and I was thrilled because I could do my online exam on zoom and have it recorded while reading the script. I tried it several times - and sometimes it worked for a few minutes and then the text board would disappear and then it would freeze.

    Doesn't show the box where you load the script - then it freezes and nothing works. What more can I say, It just doesn't work.

    Summary

    Looking for a new solid teleprompter software I came across this and tried it out. It does not work for anything that is not live. even then the fact that you cannot go back or skip forward is a dealbreaker. It feels like a half finished product. Nice start, but not finished.

    The transparency option can be handy, it is very cheap and quick to use.

    The transparency option being the default setting.
    The fact that you cannot centre the text.
    The fact that you do not seem able to go back in the text or skip forward, which is a very basic control option for teleprompter software. Imagine doing a 30 minute presentation with 10? pages of text and not being able to go back or skip in the middle.. you would need to start over from the top...
    I like the basics but this option missing makes it unusable. IF this option is there, but I could not find it, I apologize for this critique, but I have tried and could not find it.

I hope you can take the time to download the new version and adjust your star rating based on the new version. Below is an extract from the release notes: "What’s new in this version - Ability to manually scroll up and down. - Added text formatting options such as Bold, Italic, Underline, Search and replace. - Added new text colors Yellow and Magenta. - Added the ability to center align text. - The Reset button no longer resets the text color, size or transparency. - Added memory to retain the user settings such as text color, text size, transparency. - Added a slower scrolling speed."     The app has really helped me with online presentations and speeches. I work at a university and I frequently give key note speeches via Zoom or Webex. This app has allowed me to deliver my speech with more confidence especially when I am given short notice for a speaking engagement and I may not have time to memorise my talking points.
