PositiveThe package offers an extensive component library which aids design speed. The automatic reporting again aids design speed and offers a excellent level of documentation for end users. The augmented reality application is an excellent add in for end customers ability to fault find.
NegativeThe software lacks a busbar function which would complete the offering.

Great electrical CAD software and value for money!
Updated: Sep 08 2023SummaryWe can more than justify the cost of the software based on the amount of time we save thanks to the automation provided by WSCAD software. Most of the manufacturers we use are already available in their parts library. I strongly advise creating macros, which saves a lot of time too. I would gladly recommend WSCAD to anyone who is searching for electrical design software.
Positive-Provides a significant amount of functionality required for wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and electrical installation, as well as built-in reports, pdfs, charts, lists, etc.
-We also have the hydraulics & pneumatics add-on and the standard symbols are already available in the software.
-Parts library is quite extensive and free!
-PLC, terminal, contactor managers save so much time!
-Also offers interfaces to many manufacturers like Siemens TIA, Weidmuller, etc.
-Has a symbol editor
-Custom wire numbering
-Support team are very responsive and helpful!Negative- For optimum efficiency of the software, a good spec PC/laptop is recommended!
