    Summary

    We were Clearent customer for 5 years and paid fees that turned out to be much higher than competitors. We were forced to close the business that was way past the 3 year initial contract period. Clearent charged an early termination fee contrary to what the Clearent Sales Rep said. Clearent continued to charge monthly fees after the early termination fee. When we questioned Clearent, they said the sales rep lied. We asked Clearent to reinstate us as customer for a time period to avoid the early termination fee and refund us the early termination fee charged. Clearent refused.

    None. They did help keep our bank balance low by taking funds out of our account. Customer no-service will make you happy when you deal with other companies.

    Negative

    High fees, lengthy contract. Cannot believe anything a Clearent sales rep tells you. Must read the entire contract and understand it.
