Highly customizable for unusual B2B ecommerce needs
Date: Mar 21 2022SummaryWe had a set of fairly unusual requirements, as do many B2B ecommerce projects, and Zoey was flexible and customizable enough to fit our needs within a short period of time.
PositiveWe used Zoey in a nonprofit providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to first responders in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We love how customizable Zoey is in terms of checkout flow and order management. Most of the customizations we required could be done with no code, and we were able to do other customizations with minimal code.
NegativeWe wish the developer documentation available (as it existed when we implemented Zoey) had more examples in Python. The provided examples were for PHP. We also wish the APIs were a bit more consistent: we ended up having to make calls to both the XML-RPC API and the REST API. While the backend is well organized, we wish it had a search function for the individual items and options in the backend.
