What is dBASE?

The 2019 release of dBASE® has been carefully ENHANCED to simplify, speed up, and make the development process more enjoyable. One of the standout additions is Creature Feature, designed to ease your workload significantly. While the primary emphasis of dBASE® 2019 is on OPTIMIZATION, it also boasts an array of impressive features tailored for the Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Enhancements to compiler functionality have been made, and the Editor has seen significant improvements to boost development efficiency. Additionally, we have successfully integrated the most requested component by users and completed a comprehensive revamp of ADO. The IDE truly serves as the hub of creativity and productivity in the development process. Understanding the importance of user feedback, we encourage input on how the IDE should function to better suit their needs. Notably, the Editor usually consumes around 80% of a developer's time, while graphical designers make up the remaining 20%. With the latest updates, the IDE now features a host of new and refined functionalities that will enhance the overall user experience even further.
