What is puush?
You can quickly capture any part of your screen using keyboard shortcuts or drag-and-drop methods, and these screenshots are instantly uploaded, creating a short URL that is automatically copied to your clipboard for easy sharing. This makes it simple to paste the links into social media platforms like Twitter, IRC, or instant messaging apps, allowing you to share them either publicly or keep them private for personal use. Since its launch in 2014, puush has been funded through our own resources due to issues with PayPal, which classified us as a "file sharing service" and deemed it a violation of their terms. As our user base has expanded, the costs of maintaining puush have exceeded $1000 each month. Regrettably, we do not have the capacity to run the service at a level that would enable us to consider alternative funding sources such as Patreon, nor are we in a financial situation to facilitate the growth of the service. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to halt new user registrations for the time being, in order to prioritize the sustainability of the experience for our existing users. This choice underscores our dedication to preserving the quality and functionality of the service for those who currently rely on it, ensuring they continue to receive the best experience possible.
