CargoWiz vs. Cargo-Planner

You can easily adjust the load plan with just your mouse or create a comprehensive load plan tailored to your specific needs. From the beginning, we designed the CargoWiz container calculator with beginners in mind, ensuring it remains user-friendly and accessible. Catering to both front-line personnel and managerial staff, the CargoWiz cargo loading calculator is ideal for those who lack the time or resources to navigate extensive help documentation or tutorials. If you seek a simple and efficient solution, CargoWiz is perfect for you. While we provide official support for a year, we have not implemented any fees for assistance beyond that period thus far. In instances where your truck or container is not completely filled, a quick click on the calculator can rearrange the cargo to maximize floor space utilization, which generally leads to improved weight distribution and stability. If you're worried about entering your cargo details into CargoWiz, our user-friendly Excel import template makes it easy to upload large quantities of products all at once, facilitating the transfer of thousands of items simultaneously. Furthermore, we offer a feature for importing data from various company management systems, even accommodating specific acronyms or brand names, which enhances the overall efficiency of the process. With its focus on user needs and adaptable import capabilities, CargoWiz significantly streamlines the cargo loading experience for all users involved, ensuring a smoother workflow. This streamlined approach allows users to concentrate more on their core responsibilities rather than getting bogged down in technical details.

Built for forwarders, manufacturers, airlines and project cargo teams who need a load plan the warehouse can actually build. Upload the packing list you already have - most Excel layouts are read without reformatting - choose your equipment, and get a plan that respects the rules your operation runs on: which cargo may not travel beside which, how much weight each axle may carry, where the centre of gravity has to sit, what may be stacked on what, and which drop comes off the trailer first. One tool covers sea containers, trailers and trucks, air ULDs, pallets and breakbulk. When the catalogue does not have your equipment, build it: step decks, flat racks, open tops, mezzanine decks, custom contours and extendable trailers. Group a truck and trailer, or a full aircraft or vessel, and plan them as one unit. Ask the question the other way round and it answers that too: how many of these fit in a 40ft, and what does the last container cost. Keep your SKUs in a cargo library instead of retyping them. Bundle master cartons and full pallets. Take the plan into the 3D editor and move a piece by hand when the yard needs something the solver could not know. What the warehouse receives is the part most tools stop short of: step-by-step loading instructions, a document laid out the way your company lays it out, an Excel file carrying volume and weight utilisation per container, or a link your customer opens in any browser with your logo on it. The lane you run every Tuesday is configured once. Presets carry the equipment and rules forward, projects group the load lists, schedules put recurring routes on a calendar, and company-wide defaults mean nobody has to be told. Custom columns record whatever your operation records. Multiple users, team sharing, 13 languages, currency and unit conversion. From $99 per month, or $59 billed annually.
