Manufacturers only need to enter their product details once in a single language, after which this information is converted into a static passport page that is distributed via a content delivery network (CDN) in all 24 official EU languages; consumers can access this information through a QR code or a GS1 Digital Link linked to the product itself.
To facilitate this, AI plays a crucial role in automating the translation, applying a language model to convert free-text entries during publication, with the translated terms saved for each manufacturer and integrated into the passport pages; every translated term carries a note indicating it was "automatically translated - view original," enabling human modifications for each language as needed.
