What is Google Pics?

Google Pics is an AI image generation and precision editing tool coming to Google Workspace. The product is designed to help users create, customize, and refine images directly inside the Google apps they already use. With Google’s advanced AI imaging models, users can generate visuals for presentations, documents, campaigns, creative projects, and workplace communication. Google Pics supports style-guided image creation, allowing users to describe the image they want and create visuals that match a preferred look or creative direction. The tool also addresses the limitations of traditional prompt-only image generation by giving users direct editing controls. Users can select specific objects in an image, then move, resize, remove, transform, or edit those elements without starting over. Google Pics can also modify and translate text inside images, making it useful for branded materials, multilingual content, posters, slides, and visual assets. Targeted area editing lets users update only part of an image while keeping the rest of the composition intact. The product integrates with Google Slides so users can add, edit, resize, and place images directly in presentation workflows. Users can also save their creations to Google Drive, making it easier to access, organize, share, and reuse visuals across projects. By combining AI image generation, object-level editing, text editing, Google Slides integration, and Drive storage, Google Pics helps teams create polished visuals faster inside the Google Workspace ecosystem.

What is DragGAN?

Crafting visual content that meets user specifications often requires a significant level of adaptability and accuracy when it comes to controlling the pose, shape, expression, and layout of the generated components. Conventional approaches increase the manageability of generative adversarial networks (GANs) by depending on labeled training datasets or existing 3D models, which often lack the required flexibility, precision, and responsiveness. In this study, we investigate a robust yet somewhat overlooked method for manipulating GANs that enables users to "drag" specific points within an image to precisely reach target locations through interactive participation, as demonstrated in Fig.1. Our proposed method, DragGAN, consists of two main elements: a feature-based motion supervision system that directs the handle point to the desired position, and an innovative point tracking technique that leverages the distinguishing features of GANs to continuously monitor the locations of the handle points. By using DragGAN, individuals have the ability to adjust images with remarkable accuracy in guiding pixel movements, which leads to a more intuitive and user-focused design experience. This innovative approach not only broadens creative opportunities but also allows users to more effectively realize their intended visual results. Ultimately, DragGAN represents a significant advancement in the field of interactive image manipulation, fostering a new era of creativity and precision in visual content creation.
