What is Google Flow?

Google Flow is an AI creative studio that helps users unlock stronger visual storytelling through Google’s advanced generative models. The platform is designed to support the full creative process, from early ideas and concept development to image generation, video creation, editing, upscaling, and final asset refinement. Google Flow includes models such as Gemini Omni, Gemini Omni Flash, Nano Banana Pro, and Veo 3.1, giving creators access to advanced tools for multimodal generation and editing. Gemini Omni enables users to create and edit videos from real or generated reference inputs while supporting world understanding, multimodality, and conversational creative control. The platform’s creative agent acts as an intelligent collaborator that understands project context, helps users explore ideas, and supports iteration while they stay focused on the work. Google Flow allows users to turn inspiration into images and videos by blending text, image, and video inputs or by building custom tools for specific creative workflows. Its natural language editing features let users make complex adjustments, refine individual assets, and scale changes across a full project. The platform includes tools for animated text, resizing videos into different aspect ratios, layer-based image editing, script writing, cast creation, storyboards, shader effects, mockups, live beat-driven video performance, sketch rendering, character backstory development, glitch effects, image grid workflows, and 360-degree environment capture. Google Flow also includes Flow Sessions, an artist program for selected creatives who experiment with the platform and collaborate with Google on passion projects. Subscription options provide different levels of credits, tool usage, tool creation, video editing, upscaling, image generation limits, agent access, and bundled Google AI benefits.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

    Date: Jun 30 2026
    Summary

I canceled immediately. Terrible experience! I do not recommend this platform to anyone. Waste of time and money.

    Positive

I can create the same stuff any other AI platform can.

    Negative

It will charge you FOR EVERYTHING! No matter how wrong it is, how far off from the instructions or prompts you provide, no matter how many errors it has, it will NOT REFUND credits. Not even to fix the mistakes it made, in fact it charges you more to fix or re-edit videos lol 🤦And the best part is there is zero customer service unless you pay platinum pricing, which all they say is sorry, we can't help you.

Horrendously poor video generation tool. Artificial Idiocy.

    Date: Dec 06 2025
    Summary

Terrible experience. Nothing but frustration & huge amounts of time wasted generating ignored prompts.

    Positive

Absolutely nothing. The entire platform needs a huge amount of work before commercialisation. The best part of the suite is the fact that you can cancel at any time which I most certainly will be doing. The program is absolutely useless creating videos which are comically stupid.

    Negative

The videos produced do NOT follow your instructions AT ALL, even when prompts are generated and fine-tuned by Gemini itself! No matter how good your prompts are, "Flow" will find a way to completely ruin your video. I have not been able to generate a SINGLE video of any value that reflects accurately the vision I had in mind to begin with despite having prompts generated that were essentially perfect!. Don't ever ever waste a dime on Flow. This thing needs another 5 years of learning before it will be of ANY value to anyone. Rubbish!!!

    Google Flow review

    Updated: Jun 24 2025
    Summary

I am an AI Pro subscriber. But I can not make image-to-video or text-to-video when I submit the prompt. There is no specific reason shown why this is not generated. A very short window I find pops up for a very short time, which is not enough time to read that.

    Positive

As an AI Pro Subscriber, I truly appreciate the power of tools like FLOW and Gemini.
Thank you for continuing to improve the service!

    Negative

I often find the system a bit confusing—especially when trying to understand what services I'm entitled to. The overlap between tools like FLOW and Gemini makes it unclear which features are included in my plan.

When I try to create AI-generated videos, I would really benefit from more direct and transparent information. Specifically, I need clear answers to the following before submitting my prompt or image/video request:
    (i) How many video clips or credits are required for this request?
(ii) What is my current credit balance—both for today and for the rest of the month?
(iii) Can I add extra credits to complete a specific video (e.g., one requiring 4 credits)?

Ideally, I’d love to transfer or borrow credits from my monthly allocation to complete larger projects. This flexibility would greatly enhance user experience and satisfaction.

(iv) What will my remaining credit balance be after the video is generated?

A simple dashboard or pop-up showing this info in real-time would make the platform much more user-friendly. This would not only reduce confusion but also help subscribers like me better plan and manage creative tasks.
