What is Intel Server Management?

Efficiently manage and control your servers with a variety of Intel® server management tools and firmware, designed to alert users to potential problems, ensure firmware is current, and monitor power and thermal conditions in the data center. By utilizing a virtual keyboard, video, mouse (KVM), and virtual media redirection, you can achieve comprehensive server management capabilities. Central to this system is a Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), a specialized microcontroller situated on the server's motherboard, which includes features and northbound interfaces that allow users to oversee and control their servers via custom management software, established solutions like Intel® Data Center Manager, Intel® Server Utilities, or third-party applications. The platform also provides extensive Redfish schemas for firmware management and updates while maintaining an organized asset inventory. In addition, it fully supports legacy protocols such as IPMI, SNMP, and SMTP, with IPMI ensuring compliance with version 2.0 and integrating several additional OEM commands for improved functionality. This robust framework guarantees users a dependable and detailed approach to sustaining optimal server performance, thereby enhancing operational efficiency in data center management. By leveraging these advanced tools, businesses can minimize downtime and ensure a more resilient IT infrastructure.

What is FluxBilling?

FluxBilling delivers an all-encompassing billing and automation service specifically designed for web hosting providers, data center administrators, and managed service providers (MSPs). This unified platform integrates an array of functionalities, including recurring billing, payment processing, and data center infrastructure management (DCIM), as well as IP address management (IPAM) and automated server provisioning, resulting in a streamlined solution. Key features encompass the ability to manage recurring billing, perform proration, and ensure compliance with European VAT regulations; integration of multiple payment gateways with multi-currency invoicing; comprehensive DCIM tools for overseeing racks, U-positions, and power usage across different facilities; and support for both IPv4 and IPv6 through IPAM. Moreover, the platform facilitates automated provisioning for bare-metal servers using IPMI and Redfish, alongside virtual private servers, in addition to offering a client portal, ticketing system, and tools for managing resellers. Acting as a managed SaaS solution, FluxBilling guarantees automatic updates and daily backups, while each client benefits from a segregated environment with their own dedicated database. For those seeking more autonomy over their infrastructure, a self-hosted version is also available within the Business plan, allowing for increased customization and control. The versatility of FluxBilling makes it a vital tool for businesses aiming to optimize their billing processes and manage their service offerings efficiently.
