What is LexQ?

LexQ is a cloud-based solution designed for decision-making operations, specifically for engineering teams that want to maintain a clear separation between business rules and application code. It includes a user-friendly visual console that allows teams to create rule groups that consist of various conditions, actions, priorities, and mechanisms for resolving conflicts. Teams can perform dry runs to test their drafts, leverage Impact Simulation to assess different versions against historical execution metrics, and compare past decisions to prospective rules before they go live. The platform also boasts additional features like version history with rollback capabilities, controlled traffic management, A/B testing, thorough execution logs, and extensive audit trails. Applications can make decisions through LexQ's REST API, while the CLI and MCP server support compatible AI agents, such as Claude and Cursor, in managing rules, running simulations, and starting deployments. LexQ operates on a subscription basis, with monthly limits on executions, simulations, and replays, while offering premium plans for those requiring greater usage. Moreover, LexQ is dedicated to improving user experience by consistently updating its features and functionalities to meet the evolving needs of its users. This commitment to enhancement ensures that teams can adapt to changes and maintain efficiency in their decision-making processes.

What is Antaeus?

Antaeus acts as a semantic policy engine aimed at developers focused on evaluating human-written rules concerning language, context, intent, or exceptions. The engine is built on an open-source core using Go and includes a command-line interface capable of loading policy artifacts in either YAML or JSON formats, validating them against versioned schemas while carrying out named regression tests. Through this evaluation process, it produces definitive results such as allow, review, deny, or failure, along with the identification of the policy and supporting evidence for the decisions rendered, while delegating the tasks of authentication, authorization, and subsequent actions to the application itself. Developers have the flexibility to run a deterministic, credential-free local workflow or take advantage of an experimental hosted dashboard and API for managing policies and assessing various inputs. Additionally, an experimental OpenAI evaluator is also available for testing purposes. It is essential to keep in mind that Antaeus is still in its developmental phase; therefore, the capacity of the hosted service is somewhat constrained and lacks a production-level service level agreement (SLA), which may lead to reliability issues when demand is high. As such, potential users should consider these limitations when integrating Antaeus into their workflows.
