What is Lexia RAPID Assessment?

The Lexia® RAPID™ Assessment, tailored for K–12 learners, equips educators and school administrators with the necessary tools to make data-driven decisions that enhance reading proficiency. This assessment is research-based and employs a computer-adaptive format, allowing teachers to gather predictive and norm-referenced data up to three times throughout the school year while providing immediate scoring and comprehensive reports. By emphasizing key metrics, the Lexia RAPID Assessment ensures that educators can focus on the most important aspects of student performance. In a time when the need for substantial data on student achievement continues to grow, educators want to ensure their assessments genuinely reflect learning outcomes. They are in search of a reliable, efficient, and evidence-supported assessment tool that provides critical insights for developing customized instructional strategies tailored to each learner's needs. Moreover, the importance of student engagement in the educational journey cannot be understated; hence, the adaptive nature of RAPID's assessment framework effectively engages students by offering challenges suited to their individual skill levels. This capability helps ensure that students receive appropriate instructional resources precisely when required, making the learning experience not only more effective but also significantly more personalized for each child. Ultimately, such an approach fosters a deeper connection to learning and enhances overall educational outcomes.

What is FastBridge?

FastBridge is a comprehensive Pre-K–12 assessment platform that empowers educators to make timely, evidence-based decisions for academic and SEB success. It integrates curriculum-based measures and computer-adaptive testing to offer a complete system for universal screening, diagnostic insight, and continuous progress monitoring. Teachers gain access to highly reliable data that identifies risk levels, skill deficits, and learning trends across reading, math, and social-emotional behavior. FastBridge’s streamlined assessments take 30 minutes or less, ensuring instructional time remains a priority. The Screening to Intervention (s2i) report maps each student’s needs to specific instructional recommendations, making it easier for educators to plan Tier 1 supports and choose effective Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. FAST Projection™ technology provides early predictions of growth, revealing whether interventions should continue, intensify, or be adjusted long before traditional progress monitoring would detect changes. District leaders can monitor progress by subgroup to ensure equity and evaluate the impact of core instruction and supplemental supports. With clear visuals, intuitive reports, and research-grounded design, FastBridge helps educators target classroom instruction and strengthen MTSS systems. Its alignment with state standards and dyslexia screening requirements makes it a dependable choice for schools across the country. Trusted by millions of users, FastBridge drives actionable insights that help students grow faster and achieve lasting success.
