What is MergeMe?

MergeMe seamlessly integrates GitHub pull requests and GitLab merge requests into Slack, offering an efficient notification card that continuously updates for each PR/MR. Unlike the official Slack integrations for GitHub or GitLab that create a new message for every event, MergeMe refreshes a single message as its status changes—from opened to under review to approved and finally merged. During the review process, any comments are shown as replies in a thread under the notification card, which helps keep all feedback neatly organized and easily accessible. Additionally, MergeMe supports various code hosting services, such as GitHub, GitLab, and even self-hosted GitLab instances. Users have the ability to connect multiple git sources within a single Slack workspace, allowing them to assign each repository or project to specific Slack channels. It also maps usernames from GitHub and GitLab to Slack users to ensure effective notifications via @mentions for reviewers, while employing label-based routing to sort bugs, features, and documentation efforts into different channels. The setup is designed to be user-friendly and quick, taking approximately five minutes; users simply need to connect their Slack account, link their git provider through OAuth, a GitHub App, or a webhook URL for self-hosted setups, and configure the desired channel mappings. Importantly, MergeMe operates exclusively on webhook payloads, ensuring that it does not access any private source code. For users on the Free Hobby plan, the service offers one channel mapping and accommodates up to five users, making it a fantastic entry point for teams looking to improve their development processes and collaboration. Furthermore, as teams grow and require more mappings and users, they can easily transition to higher-tier plans to unlock additional features and enhancements.

What is Doozy?

Doozy is an AI assistant seamlessly integrated into Slack, tasked with fulfilling team requests across multiple interconnected business systems while delivering results and an action log straight within the Slack thread. Teams can utilize its diverse capabilities for a variety of tasks, including generating recurring reports, conducting investigations related to customers and billing, exporting data from spreadsheets, reconciling invoices, updating CRM systems, managing ticket triage, executing database queries, and handling pull requests on GitHub. Furthermore, it provides features for task scheduling, maintaining editable notes on team processes, and integrating with platforms such as Slack, GitHub, and pre-built connectors like Linear, Notion, HubSpot, Stripe, and Sentry, along with any other tools that have MCP server or API/database access. Each operation is conducted in a new, temporary sandbox environment where credentials are securely stored outside the operational space, allowing administrators the power to define the actions that are permissible. Tailored specifically for support, operations, finance, sales, software development teams, and founders, Doozy is designed to improve collaboration and boost productivity within Slack. The platform's ability to unify various workflows into a single interface makes it an indispensable resource for teams aiming to refine and enhance their processes. By adopting Doozy, organizations can expect not only increased efficiency but also a smoother workflow across disparate systems.
