What is MiniPACS?

MiniPACS is a self-sustaining PACS solution designed specifically for independent radiology and imaging centers that wish to own their data storage instead of renting cloud services on a study-by-study basis. This system effectively handles standard DICOM C-STORE data from multiple imaging modalities such as CT, MR, US, and XR, allowing studies to be quickly accessed through an integrated browser viewer that opens in under a second, thus preventing any delays for radiologists due to loading times. Radiologists can utilize voice commands to dictate their reports, make use of structured templates and dot-phrase macros, and finalize reports as DICOM PDFs that are included within the study, offering patients a secure PIN-protected sharing link or a standalone disc that operates on any computer. The complete system runs smoothly on a compact mini PC employing Docker, and it features AES-256 encrypted backups, a customizable role-based access control (RBAC) matrix, a self-service HIPAA Accounting of Disclosures report, and an immutable audit log that users can verify directly through their browser. Priced at $300 per location monthly, with no extra fees for each study, a one-click live demo is also available for potential users. This combination of features and affordability positions MiniPACS as an appealing choice for facilities aiming to enhance their imaging workflows while retaining full control over their data management. Ultimately, MiniPACS not only streamlines operations but also prioritizes data security and user convenience.

What is ImageGrid PACS?

ImageGrid PACS is an affordable and all-encompassing picture archiving and communication system that streamlines the storage, management, and visualization of multi-modality images while also improving workflow efficiency in various healthcare environments. With over 4,000 successful installations, it offers flexible DICOM storage options ranging from 1 TB to hundreds of terabytes, utilizing a RAID architecture that supports easy scalability to meet growing organizational needs. The system features self-monitoring capabilities and automated notifications via SMTP or ASTRA to maintain continuous operational performance, complemented by an intuitive web-based admin interface that simplifies setup and management. Among its diverse image management functionalities are features for merging, splitting, and linking patient files, alongside rule-based automated retrieval of historical images, quality control processes, anonymization options, and support for encapsulating non-DICOM formats like PDFs, JPEGs, and TIFFs. The cutting-edge Dynamic Tag Morphing engine enables policy-driven modifications to DICOM headers, ensuring reliable access to previous images across various studies. This combination of adaptability, efficiency, and comprehensive functionality positions ImageGrid PACS as an essential tool for healthcare facilities aiming to enhance their imaging workflows and patient care outcomes.
