What is Mnesia?

In the realm of telecommunications, data management involves a range of components that are not entirely addressed by conventional Database Management Systems (DBMSs). Recognizing the crucial need for high fault tolerance in systems that require continuous operation, as well as the requirement for the DBMS to function within the same address space as the applications, we introduced an innovative DBMS called Mnesia. Mnesia is deeply intertwined with Erlang, providing key features necessary for constructing fault-tolerant telecommunications systems. Tailored specifically for industrial-grade telecommunications applications, Mnesia functions as a multiuser distributed DBMS, with Erlang serving as its core programming language. This system is designed to tackle the diverse data management challenges typically faced in telecommunications environments and includes several sophisticated features that are often absent in traditional DBMSs. Furthermore, the architecture of Mnesia prioritizes both reliability and performance, positioning it as an optimal solution for mission-critical applications in the telecommunications sector. As such, Mnesia not only meets existing demands but also anticipates future needs in data management within the industry.

What is AADvance Control System?

Whether your safety requirements fall within SIL 1 to SIL 3, or you are exploring fail-safe, fault-tolerant, and triple modular redundant (TMR) system designs, we have the capability to satisfy your Safety Instrumented System (SIS) demands. Our AADvance® fault-tolerant control system is a truly distributed and scalable safety instrumented solution. This AADvance platform allows for the implementation of various levels of module redundancy, customized to meet the unique needs of different areas within your application. Consequently, you are empowered to ascertain the required levels of safety integrity and availability across your facility. Additionally, our AADvance training courses delve deeply into the hardware, software, and troubleshooting components of the AADvance system. We also provide additional resources to ensure that your AADvance implementation and training objectives are accomplished promptly and efficiently. You will gain valuable insights into the operation of AADvance as a fail-safe controller, examine the system's configuration limits, and learn how to design and build a comprehensive system. Moreover, you will be well-prepared to select the appropriate hardware based on your input/output requirements, optimizing your setup to align with your operational specifications. This thorough approach not only equips you with the knowledge necessary to effectively manage your safety systems but also enhances your organization's overall safety culture.
