What is Paragon?

Paragon distinguishes itself as a genuine convolution reverb that merges the flexibility and accuracy of traditional algorithmic reverbs, capturing the essence of real-world environments with remarkable customization options. By employing re-synthesis technology, it allows for extensive modifications to decay, room size, and brightness of reverb effects based on 3D recordings of authentic spaces, all while maintaining audio integrity and avoiding time-stretching artifacts. Furthermore, it incorporates spectral analysis and precise equalization of Impulse Responses, which significantly boosts its adaptability. Users are empowered to significantly extend or reduce the reverb decay and room dimensions beyond the original qualities of the recorded environment, steering clear of the unwanted artifacts that often accompany typical sample stretching techniques. Unlike standard convolution reverbs that depend on static Impulse Responses, Paragon presents a wider array of options, offering a fluid transformation of spatial soundscapes suitable for various musical contexts. This groundbreaking framework not only enhances the creative process but also positions Paragon as an essential asset for musicians and producers aiming to craft captivating audio experiences. As such, it redefines the boundaries of sound manipulation in contemporary music production.

What is Haaze 2?

Klevgrand's enhanced Haaze v2 presents a refined method for manipulating stereo width and spatially arranging sounds in a stereo mix. Conventional left-right panning often fails to accurately replicate real-world soundscapes, a phenomenon that becomes particularly noticeable when trying to integrate a mono sound into a stereo setting, especially with headphones, as it tends to sound excessively "mono." The Haaze plugin elevates audio positioning, enhancing the listening experience by making it feel more engaging and natural. It accomplishes this by segmenting the audio signal into 16 separate frequency bands, enabling users to delay the left or right signal within each band, which creates an auditory illusion that helps listeners perceive sound originating from whichever direction the signal arrives first. Furthermore, users can pan sounds to the left or right and adjust the overall width of each band, such as centering lower frequencies while allowing higher frequencies to spread out more broadly. Haaze also has the capability to diffuse a mono signal, thereby expanding its spatial characteristics. While this concept may seem complex, it ultimately culminates in a more immersive and satisfying auditory experience for the listener. This plugin exemplifies how advanced audio processing techniques can transform ordinary mixes into captivating soundscapes.
