What is Neovest?

Neovest emerges as a prominent broker-neutral Order and Execution Management System (OEMS) specifically designed to address the complex, multi-asset trading requirements of hedge funds and proprietary trading firms. As an independent subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase, it provides a unified platform that enables access to global liquidity while overseeing the entire investment lifecycle. Neovest's primary strength lies in its swift execution capabilities combined with a vast connectivity network, allowing users to connect with over 340 brokers and access more than 130 global exchanges, ECNs, and dark pools through a single interface. Furthermore, it facilitates smooth trading across diverse asset classes, including equities, futures, options, and foreign exchange. Neovest also accommodates advanced trading strategies by offering sophisticated order types such as synthetic baskets, pairs trading, and intricate multi-leg spreads in the futures market. In 2024, after acquiring LayerOne Financial, Neovest introduced PortfolioOne, a versatile platform that enriches its suite of services by adding robust portfolio management features, thereby reinforcing its standing in the financial technology sector. This strategic evolution not only enhances its service offerings but also exemplifies Neovest's dedication to evolving alongside the ever-changing needs of traders and investors in the market. As the financial landscape continues to shift, Neovest remains committed to innovation and excellence in trading solutions.

What is LeveL ATS?

LeveL ATS serves as an independent Alternative Trading System for US equities, designed to facilitate quick and effective trades within a dark pool framework. Founded in 2006, the platform provides a continuous crossing mechanism that allows users to engage in trading in a secure dark pool atmosphere, effectively decreasing the risk of information leakage while lessening the impact on the market. As a continuously operating US Equity ATS, LeveL ATS seeks to enhance dark pool executions through innovative crossing technologies. All participants in LeveL ATS are required to be registered as U.S. Broker-Dealers. The trading is focused on NMS securities, typically executed in increments of 100 shares. Although LeveL ATS does not offer a direct co-location option with its matching engine, it is significant to note that this engine operates from Equinix NY4. The Operating Market Identifier Code (MIC) for LeveL ATS is LEVL, and it also holds the MIC Code EBXV. Furthermore, the system's design and operational model underscore a dedication to improving trading efficiency while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, contributing to a more robust trading ecosystem. This commitment to innovation and compliance positions LeveL ATS as a notable player in the alternative trading landscape.
