What is OpenHexa?

Addressing health-related challenges often requires the amalgamation of complex and diverse data sources, even when targeting interventions within a single country. These data sources can stem from Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) like DHIS2, personal tracking tools, specialized software tailored to specific issues, or various Excel files provided by healthcare professionals. The existence of this varied data in separate silos frequently poses the greatest obstacle to efficient exploration and analysis. This disconnection also inhibits collaboration, leading health data analysts to create makeshift scripts and visualizations on personal devices and share their findings across different publications, which complicates the process of deriving coherent insights. To tackle this issue, Bluesquare has introduced OpenHexa, a robust cloud-based data integration platform that consists of three main components: extraction, analysis, and visualization. This cutting-edge platform primarily utilizes established open-source technologies, ensuring reliability and accessibility for users within the health sector. By simplifying data management, OpenHexa aspires to promote collaboration and generate cohesive insights that can enhance the effectiveness of health interventions. Furthermore, the platform is designed to adapt to the evolving needs of healthcare professionals, ensuring that it remains relevant in an ever-changing landscape.

What is Jitsu?

Jitsu is released as open-source software under the MIT license, offering support for various deployment methods, including Heroku, Docker, and Docker-Compose. Its intuitive interface simplifies configuration, making it accessible to users of all skill levels. A detailed list of supported destinations is available, encompassing data warehouses and external services utilizing APIs. Jitsu guarantees reliable data delivery; if a destination goes offline, the system holds the data in an internal persistent queue and ensures transmission resumes once the destination is back online. Furthermore, Jitsu enriches data through a geo resolution process, which determines the user's geographical details such as country, city, and zip code based on their IP address. For those interested in a managed solution, Jitsu Cloud offers a SaaS version of the platform, encompassing all the functionalities of the open-source edition and allowing up to 250,000 events per month without charge. This makes it an appealing choice for businesses in search of flexible and scalable data management solutions. Additionally, the combination of open-source and cloud options provides users with the freedom to choose the best deployment strategy that aligns with their specific needs.
