AB Testing
Flagsmith serves as your experimentation's bucketing solution while keeping your analytics infrastructure intact. With the ability to create multivariate flags and assign variants based on percentage distributions, Flagsmith ensures that traffic is allocated in a predictable manner. Each user is consistently assigned the same variant during evaluations until you decide to adjust the weights. You can use segments to limit tests to specific user groups, such as certain plan tiers, geographic locations, or beta testing groups. This same feature can also facilitate beta programs to gather initial user feedback. Importantly, Flagsmith does not track events or determine statistical significance. Instead, simply relay the variant name to your existing analytics platform. Flagsmith seamlessly integrates with tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, Heap, and Rudderstack, or you can route data to your custom pipeline via webhooks. This approach allows you to maintain a single source of truth for your metrics. Whether you utilize our cloud solution, your private cloud, or an on-premise setup, Flagsmith operates consistently across all environments.

Feature Management
Implement a feature flag to encapsulate a new functionality, push the code live, and determine the visibility later. This flag can maintain varying states across different environments, allowing for behavior adjustments in production without the need for redeployment. The targeting options encompass boolean flags, multivariate flags, remote configuration settings, user identities with attributes, segments formed by rules based on those attributes, and percentage-based rollouts for canary deployments. For flag evaluation, Flagsmith provides server-side SDKs that can operate in a local evaluation mode, resolving flags internally without requiring network calls for each check. The Edge API delivers client and mobile SDK support from the closest geographical location. Additionally, offline mode is available for environments lacking outbound connectivity. There are over 15 open-source SDKs available, including options for TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, Go, Ruby, PHP, Swift, Kotlin, and Flutter. Governance capabilities feature audit trails, role-based access management, change requests with approval workflows, scheduled updates, SAML SSO integration, and SCIM provisioning. Automation can be achieved through the REST API, Terraform, and more.
