What is PROCAI?
PROCAI is a cloud-based procurement solution tailored for sourcing suppliers, managing requests for quotations (RFQs), and evaluating vendor proposals. Buyers can define their required products or services, search for suppliers in specific countries, and dispatch targeted RFQs to chosen vendors through integrations with Gmail, Microsoft 365, Outlook, or SMTP email accounts. The platform proficiently monitors supplier responses linked to each RFQ and detects any issues with deliveries. Users have the option to upload quotations in multiple formats, including PDFs, spreadsheets, documents, or scanned images; the sophisticated AI capabilities then extract and organize line items into a comparison sheet that features details about currencies, VAT, and overall costs, which can conveniently be exported as Excel or PDF files. Furthermore, optional AI assistants are available to compose responses to incoming purchase inquiries, thereby improving communication efficiency. For larger teams, enterprise workspaces enable role assignments and incorporate an eight-step workflow to transition from purchase requisitions to finalized orders. Primarily, PROCAI serves buyers and procurement teams in the construction and industrial supply sectors, aiming to streamline the process of requesting and evaluating supplier quotations, ultimately leading to a more efficient procurement experience. This tool not only simplifies procurement tasks but also enhances collaboration among team members, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned throughout the purchasing journey.
What is MapleBridge.io?
MapleBridge.io provides a bilingual procurement environment for small purchasing teams, ecommerce businesses, and importers managing their own supplier relationships. Buyers can organize RFQs, send secure response links to suppliers they already work with, and document quotations received through other channels. Quote data can be added individually or brought in through the platform’s supported CSV format, including a review step before the information is imported. Once added, supplier offers can be compared based on factors such as cost, MOQ, order-volume breaks, currency, unit pricing, shipping or delivery terms, and validity periods. Records created by the buyer are identified separately from responses that suppliers submit themselves. Unlike supplier marketplaces or sourcing agencies, MapleBridge.io does not offer supplier discovery, manufacturer vetting, supplier matching, outsourced sourcing, or transaction and payment services.
