What is PicoClaw?

PicoClaw is an ultra-efficient AI assistant framework written in Go, purpose-built to operate on minimal hardware while maintaining strong performance. It requires less than 10MB of RAM and can start in under a second, enabling deployment on affordable single-board computers and embedded Linux devices. The assistant supports heartbeat-driven periodic automation, asynchronous subagents through spawn functionality, and scheduled reminders using cron expressions. With multi-provider LLM support, optional web search integration, and lightweight deployment flexibility, PicoClaw provides a scalable foundation for building low-footprint AI agents across diverse environments.
