What is QuantRocket?

QuantRocket is a versatile platform that utilizes Python for the research, backtesting, and execution of quantitative trading strategies. Designed with Docker, it can be conveniently deployed on local machines or cloud environments, showcasing an open architecture that allows for significant customization and expansion. The platform features a JupyterLab interface and includes a comprehensive set of data integrations, along with support for various backtesting frameworks, such as Zipline—originally the backbone of Quantopian; Alphalens for alpha factor analysis; Moonshot, a backtester leveraging pandas; and MoonshotML, which focuses on walk-forward machine learning backtesting. Additionally, users can benefit from its flexibility to adapt to diverse trading needs and strategies as they evolve.

What is AniQuant?

AniQuant is a Windows-based desktop application designed to empower users in researching, crafting, backtesting, and validating systematic trading strategies utilizing their own historical market data. With the ability to create strategies through approaches such as exhaustive, random, or genetic searches, users can assess their designs using a variety of tools, including technical indicators, candlestick patterns, the AQ strategy language, and advanced parameter sweeps that leverage CPU/GPU assistance. The application offers robust validation capabilities, which include walk-forward and out-of-sample testing, Monte Carlo simulations, metrics for overfitting, survival testing, market-regime analysis, and portfolio risk evaluations. Furthermore, users can conveniently export their strategies as code that is compatible with multiple platforms like TradeStation, MultiCharts, AmiBroker, MetaTrader 5, ProRealTime, TradingView, and NinjaTrader 8. This software is specifically suited for independent traders, professionals, and quantitative researchers aiming to rigorously evaluate their strategies before implementation. While it operates locally on Windows, users will need a separate market-data subscription for US stock analysis. Additionally, a 14-day trial period is available for users to explore the software's rich features. Ultimately, AniQuant serves as a thorough toolkit, equipping traders with the necessary resources to refine and validate their trading strategies effectively. Whether a novice or an experienced trader, AniQuant offers valuable insights and tools to elevate trading performance.
