What is RB5009UPr+S+IN?

The newest version of the RB5009 incorporates all the remarkable features found in the previous model, such as Gigabit Ethernet, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and a 10 Gigabit SFP+ slot for fiber connections. It offers outstanding speed, powerful performance, and impressive durability. A significant enhancement is that all eight Ethernet ports now support both PoE-in and PoE-out, which greatly increases its versatility. In addition to the 2-pin connector and the DC jack, users can enjoy ten different power options. Although dual redundant power supplies typically increase uptime reliability, the RB5009UPr+S+IN elevates this capability significantly. It caters to a wide voltage range from 24 to 57 V across all power methods, yet mixing various voltages is not allowed. When using PoE-out to power other devices, the system cleverly chooses the highest voltage source—either from the DC jack or the 2-pin connector—to guarantee optimal performance. This intelligent design not only meets a variety of networking requirements but also simplifies the setup for users. Overall, the RB5009 stands out as a versatile and reliable solution for modern networking challenges.
