What is SIMHEAT?

Induction heat treatment simulation provides in-depth analysis of temperature fluctuations from the surface to the interior, pinpointing areas where phase transitions occur. Utilizing SIMHEAT®, users can evaluate the impact of parameters such as current frequency, coil configuration, and the placement of concentrators on the heat-affected zone. The material modeling component considers the electrical and magnetic properties that change with temperature. Additionally, SIMHEAT® can function on its own or integrate seamlessly with Transvalor software, facilitating an effortless exchange of results between the two systems. This exceptional interoperability ensures users can depend on reliable and precise results. Moreover, all the capabilities found in SIMHEAT® are also featured in our FORGE® software, which is specifically designed for simulating hot, semi-hot, and cold forming processes, thus enhancing its applicability across diverse manufacturing scenarios. As a result, users benefit from a comprehensive toolkit that supports various stages of production with precision and accuracy.

What is Magnum?

Magnum is an advanced and versatile software application specifically designed for performing 3D finite-element magnetostatic analyses with remarkable precision and efficiency while remaining cost-effective. This application is capable of executing three unique types of calculations: it determines free-space fields in infinite volumes based on the applied currents specified by the user, computes bounded fields influenced by coils, permanent magnets, and saturable isotropic ferromagnetic materials, and analyzes pulsed fields in regions containing ideal conductors. Additionally, Magnum adeptly addresses saturation effects in ferromagnetic materials, as well as in high-performance permanent-magnet substances like NdFeB and SmCo. The comprehensive software suite consists of five interconnected elements: Geometer, enabling users to build 3D structures in an interactive environment; MetaMesh, which automates the creation of conformal hexahedral meshes; MagWinder, tailored for designing complex 3D drive coil configurations; Magnum itself, offering interactive generation of magnetic field solutions through both a graphical interface and command line; and lastly, MagView, which is employed for producing both 2D and 3D visual representations and conducting quantitative evaluations. Collectively, these integrated components render Magnum a powerful solution for professionals who specialize in magnetics, enhancing their ability to analyze and visualize magnetic field interactions effectively. This software not only streamlines the workflow but also empowers users with sophisticated tools to achieve their magnetostatic analysis objectives.
