What is Simple Affiliate?
Simple Affiliate lets a Shopify store run an in-house affiliate, influencer, and referral program. Affiliates sign in with the store's own customer accounts, get referral links and discount codes, and see their referrals and earnings in an affiliate portal. Merchants choose commission rules by product, variant, collection, and discount, and Premium adds tiered commissions that move affiliates up when they reach a goal. For payouts, Autopay sends the full commission through Stripe, monthly or on demand, and facilitates Form 1099-K and Form 1099-NEC for eligible U.S. affiliates; the merchant pays the processing fee. PayPal, store credit, and manual payouts are other options. Pricing is flat and monthly, with no share of referred sales: Starter is free for up to 10 affiliates, and Basic, Pro, and Premium cost $19, $39, and $59 a month. Starter is free for up to 10 affiliates. Basic is $19/month, Pro is $39/month, and Premium is $59/month, billed in USD every 30 days through Shopify. Basic and Pro include 14-day trials; Premium includes a 7-day trial. PayPal and store-credit payouts have no Simple Affiliate processing fee on every plan; Premium also includes manual payouts without an app processing fee. Autopay sends payouts through Stripe and carries additional merchant-paid processing fees that vary by plan and payment method. Subscription pricing does not include a percentage of referred sales.
