What is Siterack?

Every minute, all of your websites undergo a check to confirm they are operating smoothly. If any issues arise, Siterack evaluates the problem and promptly notifies you. Moreover, Siterack performs a daily backup of your sites, securely storing them in the cloud for quick access when needed. You can easily sift through these backups in your site's Control Center to locate the version you want. Prior to making any updates, Siterack creates a backup to ensure safety. Afterward, it methodically updates each package and employs our AI-driven Error Detection system to identify any potential problems. If something goes wrong, Siterack swiftly restores the most recent backup and informs you of the steps taken. With a strong dual-method malware detection system, the Siterack Malware Engine executes daily scans to find and remove any malicious packages. Utilizing a combination of Yara rules and signature analysis, it effectively identifies malware and guarantees automatic removal upon detection. This thorough strategy not only protects your sites but also fosters confidence in their continual security, allowing you to focus on other important tasks. Additionally, Siterack's user-friendly interface ensures that managing these security features is both accessible and efficient.

What is BackupMGR?

BackupMGR is a self-hosted solution tailored for server backups, primarily aimed at system administrators, managed service providers, and hosting teams. It operates with a Go agent that communicates with a web control panel via outbound polling, while also supporting agentless connections through SFTP, rsync, or FTP for various hosts. Administrators can set up backup jobs to secure a wide array of data types, including files and databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as full disk images or combinations of files and databases. This platform excels at producing encrypted and deduplicated snapshots stored in S3-compatible storage, ensuring that repositories are isolated by host for enhanced security. Users have the ability to automate their backup routines by scheduling incremental backups and applying retention policies on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis; they can also review point-in-time snapshots and restore selected files to different locations. Furthermore, job status can be monitored through detailed logs, alerts, and health checks, offering reassurance to administrators about their backup processes. To simplify integration, a REST API is provided for managing hosts and jobs, launching backup runs, and exploring snapshots. Customers can install the control panel on their own Linux server and choose their desired storage solutions, tailoring the platform to meet their unique operational needs and improving their overall backup strategies. This flexibility allows for a customized approach to backup management, ensuring that organizations can align their processes with industry best practices.
