What is SoftDicom?

SoftDicom — A Compact Solution for DICOM Viewing and PACS Management. This flexible DICOM viewer and PACS can run straight from your SSD, removing the necessity for installation, Java, or root access. With SoftDicom, users can easily view their medical imaging studies by simply plugging the SSD into any Windows, macOS, or Ubuntu machine, granting instant access to their data. What is Saga DICOM Viewer?

The Saga DICOM Viewer is a free, web-based application that enables users to view .dcm files directly through their browser, eliminating the need for any software installation. Users can effortlessly drag and drop individual files or entire study folders onto the site, where the images are rendered locally, safeguarding user data while avoiding the necessity of account creation. This adaptable viewer supports various operating systems such as Mac, Windows, Chromebook, and Linux on all up-to-date browsers. Built on the open-source OHIF v3 framework and a Saga shell, this tool incorporates features such as image reviewing functions—including scrolling, window/level adjustments, panning/zooming, and basic measurement tools—a DICOM tag browser, and a tag editor equipped with VR-aware validation and save-as capabilities.
