What is StandTally?

StandTally is a dedicated software platform designed for forest inventory and timber cruising, serving a wide range of professionals such as forestry consultants, forest managers, teams managing Crown lands, and municipal by-law officers. Field crews are empowered to enter data related to timber cruises, tree marking, harvest inspections, and regeneration surveys via their mobile devices, allowing them to operate offline and later retrieve their records through a web interface. The software includes forestry tools that assess stocking levels, species diversity, and sampling statistics, enabling users to export stand analyses in various formats like Excel, PDF, and CSV. Furthermore, the municipal by-law module streamlines the management of notices of intent, woodland assessments according to local regulations, and complaint investigations, alongside site inspections that encompass stump measurements while also monitoring contravention timelines and orders with thorough change logs. The incorporation of maps, GPS, agency records, job assignments, and property details significantly boosts the productivity of field operations. Designed for both Crown and private land management, it features forestry defaults tailored to Ontario and allows for customizable settings for other provinces. User plans can vary according to capacity, with an optional yearly add-on for municipal enforcement features, ensuring the software meets the diverse requirements of its users while being comprehensive and easy to use. This adaptability, combined with a strong focus on compliance and environmental responsibility, positions StandTally as an indispensable tool for successful forest management and sustainable practices in the forestry sector. Additionally, its user-friendly interface makes it accessible to professionals at various levels of expertise.

What is LOGR?

The cloud-based administration platform you utilize facilitates the creation of geofenced forestry operations, allowing users to define the types of woodfibre products to be harvested along with their respective delivery locations such as mills or ports, and to set various operational parameters including types, rates, routes, GVM limits, and required certifications. Furthermore, it provides the capability to assign contractors for tasks like harvesting, loading, and transportation, while also enabling the configuration of permissions for drivers and management of trucks. The system features driver-initiated eDockets that are accurate, traceable, and auditable, ensuring accountability throughout the entire process. LOGR enhances collaboration between buyers, suppliers, and transporters of woodfibre products from the source to the destination by offering real-time updates through geofences, GPS tracking, event timestamps, predefined harvest information, driver authentication, customer confirmations, and changelogs. In addition, LOGR includes supplementary features such as monitoring inventory levels, managing supply and haulage quotas, and alerting stakeholders about completed deliveries, all of which collectively provide immediate insights that aid in rapid decision-making. By integrating these diverse functionalities, LOGR not only streamlines operations but also significantly boosts efficiency within the forestry sector, creating a more responsive and effective approach to resource management.
