What is Tablecruncher?
Tablecruncher is a powerful and user-friendly CSV editor tailored for Mac users, designed to handle large datasets effortlessly. It can open files larger than 2GB and those with over 15 million rows, demonstrating remarkable efficiency by loading a 100MB CSV file in under five seconds on a dual-core MacBook Pro. The application supports various encodings, including UTF-8, UTF-16LE, UTF-16BE, Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1), and Windows 1252, and is equipped with an auto-detection feature for most CSV formats and their respective encodings. Users can utilize JavaScript as a macro language for editing files, enabling them to modify and perform calculations on all cells effectively. Furthermore, Tablecruncher allows users to export table data to JSON format, creating either an array of objects if a header row is present or an array of arrays in its absence. The find and replace capability empowers users to search for patterns within the table or selected areas, leveraging Regular Expressions that conform to the ECMAScript 5 standard. Additionally, the software offers four unique color themes, including a dark mode option, to elevate the user experience while managing large datasets. With its comprehensive set of features, Tablecruncher proves to be an essential asset for anyone working extensively with CSV files, ensuring both efficiency and convenience in data handling.

What is Edit CSV?
Edit CSV is a free online tool that allows users to edit CSV files through an intuitive table-based interface. This platform includes various functionalities, such as the ability to undo or redo changes, sort columns by their headers, and rearrange rows and columns through a simple drag-and-drop mechanism.
