What is Thicket?

Thicket provides an online platform aimed at assisting businesses and their advisors in protecting their brands from websites that imitate their identity or duplicate their online stores. The service performs daily examinations for misspelled domain names, different domain extensions, and transparency records of certificates, thereby identifying potentially fraudulent sites and contrasting them with the legitimate brand's website. By implementing AI-driven scoring, Thicket can pinpoint likely instances of harmful impersonation for users to analyze. Once such cases are confirmed, the platform sends takedown requests to a variety of organizations, including registrars, hosting services, content delivery networks, and relevant blocklists, while carefully documenting evidence, notifications, responses, and follow-up procedures. The Monitor and Protect plans are specifically designed for individual brands, while the Agency plans cater to legal firms and agencies that manage multiple client brands and can assign approval responsibilities to their legal counsel. A free scan is offered to assess one domain for similar registered names, but it lacks ongoing monitoring or notifications for takedowns. It’s crucial to understand that the effectiveness of takedown requests depends on the actions of third parties, and no guarantees can be provided regarding outcomes, underscoring the difficulties involved in robust brand protection. Ultimately, Thicket is dedicated to equipping brands with essential resources to tackle the challenges posed by online impersonation effectively, ensuring they have the necessary support to safeguard their digital identity.

What is Cyberwebnic?

When faced with a threat to your brand's reputation, it is crucial to quickly tackle any occurrences of brand abuse. Cyberwebnic provides an all-encompassing managed service, featuring human analysts who operate continuously within our Security Operations Centre (SOC) to detect and assess potential risks. Our primary focus is on uncovering incidents of digital brand misuse or impersonation, and after thorough consultations with our clients, we take immediate action to eliminate such content completely. While it may not always be feasible to remove every mention of a brand, Cyberwebnic prioritizes addressing any trademark infringements by taking decisive steps to ensure the removal of those violations. Unlike other services that might simply send a standard automated message to an abuse inbox, our committed team meticulously examines each instance of brand abuse to identify the most effective removal strategy. With our extensive industry experience, we frequently possess established reporting channels that allow us to expedite the resolution of brand abuse cases, thereby ensuring your brand's ongoing protection. Our proactive measures not only shield your reputation but also enhance the confidence that your customers have in your brand, reinforcing their loyalty over time. By taking these steps, we help you maintain a strong and trustworthy brand presence in the digital landscape.
