What is TurboBid Estimating Software?
In 2007, Bill Ruffner, the founder of TurboBid, realized that true innovation stems from necessity. With over 25 years of experience as a contractor, he recognized that the most effective way to estimate jobs was through the use of a computer. However, he faced a significant challenge: he couldn't find an estimating program tailored to his needs. Frustrated by the lack of suitable options, he resolved to develop his own estimating software designed to handle various types of work, including residential, commercial, remodeling, and service jobs. Unlike other estimating tools, TurboBid stands out for its user-friendliness and versatility, allowing users to efficiently estimate a wide array of projects, from new construction to flat rate pricing, ultimately delivering an exceptional bid package that surpasses competitors. With this innovative solution, Ruffner not only filled a gap in the market but also empowered contractors to improve their bidding processes significantly.
