What is ProofSign?

ProofSign is an innovative platform that facilitates electronic signatures and document verification, tailored for individuals, professionals, teams, and organizations that require signing of finalized PDF documents. Users can seamlessly upload their files, invite signers and approvers, and manage workflows that can involve either single or multiple participants. For enhanced security, all involved parties must verify their email access through a one-time passcode. The platform carefully tracks signing intentions, participant actions, and timestamps, creating a detailed audit trail for accountability purposes. Each finalized PDF is embedded with a SHA-256 fingerprint, enabling recipients to confirm its authenticity through a public verifier without needing to create an account. This service proves to be especially valuable for agreements and finalized documents that necessitate an auditable signing record, as well as for identifying any alterations made to the files post-signing. A free plan is offered, allowing single-party signing and verification of up to 10 documents monthly, adhering to fair use policies. Users can also earn credits by completing onboarding tasks and reaching signing milestones, further enhancing their experience. The Pro plan includes advanced functionalities such as a verification API, expanding the platform's features for professional users. Thus, ProofSign emerges as a comprehensive solution for secure document management and signature verification, ensuring that all parties can maintain trust and integrity in their digital transactions. Furthermore, its user-friendly interface makes it accessible to a wide range of users, fostering a smoother signing experience.
