What is InnovationStation?

Employees are encouraged to leverage the Innovation Station application on any device, whether it's company-issued or personal, such as computers and smartphones. The platform allows anyone to suggest innovative ideas, while others can conveniently vote and leave feedback, including anonymous options. Once an idea garners a predetermined number of votes, the individual behind it may begin the investigation phase. Occasionally, an executive might opt to fast-track an idea's development without waiting for the full quota of votes. During this phase, the innovator is allocated around 30 days and specific resources to delve deeper into their idea, ultimately leading to a presentation before executives. If the investigation yields promising results and receives a favorable evaluation from a panel that assesses the business case, the idea progresses to incubation, where it will be subjected to prototyping, limited testing, modifications, and validation. It’s crucial to understand that not all ideas will find success, and this is considered acceptable, as some may simply emerge before their time, even after extensive research has been conducted. In the end, the process concludes with either the rollout of a new product or an improvement to an existing process, or a decision to Pass or Perish the idea, depending on its feasibility.
