What is VQmon?

VQmon is a specialized embedded library designed for real-time analysis of media streams such as VoIP, IP videoconferencing, and video streaming. It delivers in-depth analytics and Quality of Experience (QoE) scores for IP-based media streams. The library offers APIs and standardized payloads compliant with RFC 635 (SIP PUBLISH) and RFC 3611, enabling users to obtain critical metrics. With a successful integration into over 500 million IP phones, media gateways, and testing tools, VQmon has proven its widespread utility. It operates efficiently and scales remarkably, requiring only a minuscule fraction of a microprocessor's resources to monitor individual voice or video streams.
