What is Verdant?

The Verdant Plant Mechanic allows users to generate 3D plants in a procedural manner, meaning that creating just one flower can lead to an entire bouquet! By leveraging fundamental shapes, this tool facilitates the design of nearly any type of plant one can envision. The plants produced via this mechanic can be exported in multiple formats such as 3DS, LWO, OBJ, and DXF. Furthermore, we are in the process of enhancing Verdant for Photoshop and gearing up for the launch of Verdant for SoftImage, which will provide even more export alternatives. Digital Element has plans to introduce additional Verdant plug-ins in 2004, significantly broadening its functionality. As a cutting-edge plug-in for Photoshop, Verdant enables users to easily randomize, rotate, scale, and position plants and trees within their creative projects. The team at Digital Element, recognized for their contributions to Aurora and WorldBuilder, is thrilled to present this revolutionary plug-in to you. This innovative tool is set to revolutionize the creation and application of digital vegetation in design, making it easier than ever for artists and designers to bring their visions to life. With its versatile features, Verdant is truly a game changer in the realm of digital plant generation.

What is Earthtec?

Earthtec utilizes cutting-edge sensor technology to tap into the sensory and regulatory systems of plants, converting the collected data into automated irrigation solutions via our proprietary analytic platform, Adviroguard. This groundbreaking methodology, known as the Plant to Irrigation (P2i) process, allows plants to determine their own irrigation needs, optimizing water consumption while reducing stress levels. The Plant-Triggered Irrigation technique has been shown to significantly improve Plant Water Health for various crops, increasing production efficiency while simultaneously addressing both the financial and environmental challenges associated with over-watering and under-watering. Central to effective real-time irrigation is Earthtec's adeptness at interpreting the signals that plants communicate. As inherently adaptable and responsive entities, plants constantly assess their surroundings and adjust their behavior in response to various external stimuli, revealing their complex interaction with the ecosystem. This remarkable ability not only promotes optimal growth but also underscores the necessity of a synergistic relationship between nature and technology, fostering a sustainable future for agricultural practices. In this way, Earthtec is paving the way for innovative agricultural solutions that prioritize both efficiency and ecological balance.
