Following the arrangement of appointments, patients are notified through a text message or email that provides instructions for preparing for their visit, and for specific appointment types like procedures, these messages may include essential educational material and detailed preparation steps. You are empowered to choose the timing and method for sending appointment reminders to patients, ensuring that they are reminded in a way that suits their preferences. Once you've set up reminders for each appointment category, Curago automatically takes charge of sending these notifications whenever appointments are scheduled in the EHR. Additionally, each reminder can be designed to encourage patients to confirm their attendance via text, and when a patient does confirm, Curago updates the EHR to document this confirmation, preventing unnecessary repetition in requests.
