What is Vizbase?

Vizbase is an AI rendering platform built for architects, interior designers, and design studios. It allows users to upload visual content from widely-used design applications such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, or Blender, as well as traditional hand sketches. The platform employs intelligent recognition to pinpoint elements like walls, floors, furniture, and fixtures in the uploaded images, enabling users to select materials for each item using simple language, reference images, or a rich library that features over 2,000 material options. Upon completion of the upload, Vizbase produces a photorealistic render that reflects the user’s design intent. It offers four unique rendering modes, including Gen 2.0, which provides results closely matching the original image, and Gen 4.0, which enriches the scene with realistic lighting and textures. Users can also utilize the Refine mode to make tweaks to specific sections of an already rendered image, while the Multiview feature carries an approved look across different camera perspectives, complete with export capabilities supporting resolutions as high as 8K. Moreover, the platform comes equipped with a native SketchUp plugin that works with SketchUp 2021+ on both Windows and macOS, allowing for direct rendering from within the model itself. Operating fully in a web browser eliminates the need for additional rendering software or dedicated GPUs, and users retain full commercial rights to the images they render. To further enhance accessibility, Vizbase offers a free plan that includes 5 credits (up to 10 renders) without requiring any credit card information, making it an ideal option for those interested in testing its features.

What is Indigo Renderer?

Indigo Renderer stands as a state-of-the-art, unbiased rendering tool that generates photorealistic visuals by harnessing the power of both GPU and CPU, prioritizing the utmost image fidelity through a realistic simulation of light's behavior. With its sophisticated rendering features and user-friendly models for materials and cameras, it enhances user experience by providing an intuitive and photographic interface. Employing an OpenCL-based GPU engine, Indigo achieves remarkable performance levels on both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards, with processing speeds around ten times faster using a single modern GPU. Moreover, by incorporating additional GPUs, users can tap into even greater computational strength to quickly produce breathtaking 4K images and animations. The most recent iteration, Indigo 4, brings forth innovative features like a dark mode for the user interface, interactive previews for materials, and light-layer thumbnails, alongside RGB color curves and dynamic trackball navigation, all of which contribute to a more efficient and satisfying workflow. Additionally, these advancements not only enhance productivity but also allow users to manage their rendering endeavors seamlessly while benefiting from an aesthetically pleasing interface. Overall, Indigo Renderer is designed to cater to the needs of both professionals and enthusiasts, making high-quality rendering more accessible than ever.
